One Algebra Strand From Grade 5 to Grade 12
One Algebra Strand From Grade 5 to Grade 12
If you want one connected set of algebra materials running from Grade 5 to Grade 12, the Complete Algebra Bundle collects all 10 algebra workbooks in the store: from expressions and ratio through equations, inequalities, linear functions and systems, up to quadratics and function transformations, plus two warm-up sets. It is the algebra strand of a 5–12 program in one download, not a replacement for every grade's full course.
Open the algebra bundle →The Complete Algebra Bundle ($129.99) contains all 10 algebra workbooks for Grades 5–12: four foundations workbooks (expressions, equations and inequalities, real numbers, ratio and percentage), two warm-up sets, equations and inequalities foundations, linear functions and systems, quadratics, and function transformations. The parts cost $199.90 separately, a saving of $69.91. It covers the algebra strand only, not a full-year course for any single grade.

The real problem
Why an algebra strand breaks between grades
Algebra is built in layers that span a lot of grade levels. Expressions and variables appear in Grade 5 or 6. Ratio and percentage show up in middle school. Solving equations and inequalities arrives around Grade 7 or 8. Linear functions, slope and systems follow, then quadratics, then transformations of more complex functions in high school. In many schools, each of those layers is taught by a different teacher with different materials. The notation shifts, the vocabulary drifts, and the methods for solving equations change from one year to the next. A student who learned to balance equations one way in Grade 7 meets a different presentation in Grade 9, and the connection gets lost. When high school teachers say students arrive without algebra, part of the problem is often that the strand was never one strand. Building a coherent sequence by hand means choosing materials grade by grade and checking that each one picks up where the last stopped. That is real curriculum work, and few departments have the hours for it.
Why it fits
How the bundle holds the strand together
Ten workbooks from one store give you a common thread from the first expressions to function transformations.
- Four foundations workbooks cover expressions, equations and inequalities, real numbers, and ratio, proportion and percentage.
- A separate equations and inequalities foundations workbook gives extra depth where students most often stall.
- The linear functions and systems workbook covers slope, intercept, y = mx + b, substitution and elimination.
- Quadratics and function transformations workbooks take the strand into high school algebra.
- Two warm-up sets provide daily practice on expressions and variables, plus mixed bell ringers.
- Buying the 10 workbooks as one bundle saves $69.91 compared with buying each one separately.
Getting started
Mapping the strand in your first two weeks
A suggested way to place the 10 workbooks across your grades. The bundle does not come with a grade-by-grade map; this is how you can make one.
- List what each grade teaches nowWrite down the algebra topics currently taught in each grade from 5 to 12. This shows where the bundle can fill gaps and where your existing materials already work.
- Assign workbooks to grade bandsPlace the foundations workbooks in the middle grades, linear functions and systems around Grades 8 to 9, and quadratics and transformations in high school. Adjust to your sequence.
- Agree on shared notationUse the workbooks to settle how your school writes and solves equations, so teachers in different grades use the same language and methods with students.
- Put the warm-ups to workUse the warm-up sets in the middle grades for short daily review. Older students who need a refresh on expressions can use them too. Use them as a quick opener.
- Pick one handoff to testChoose one transition, such as Grade 8 to Grade 9, and check that the workbooks connect for your students before you roll the plan out across all grades.
What to buy
All ten workbooks or a smaller set
If you are covering algebra across several grades, the Complete Algebra Bundle at $129.99 is the most economical way to get all 10 workbooks; bought separately they total $199.90. If you only teach middle school, the Algebra Foundations Bundle or the Middle School Math Starter Bundle ($54.99, with fractions, compass constructions and expressions) may be enough. For applied topics outside the algebra strand, the Everyday & Financial Math Bundle ($49.99) covers interest, discounts and business maths. Note that TEACHMORE15 applies only to Complete Curriculum packages, not to this bundle.
Honest limits
What the bundle leaves to you
This covers the algebra strand only. Geometry, statistics, number sense and the rest of each grade's math are not included, so it is not a full course or curriculum for any year. No alignment to a state standard or framework is claimed; check each workbook against your own requirements. Use across several teachers or a whole school needs a short message to Teach Lessons first, before you share files. Within 7 days, if it is not a fit, you can exchange it for store credit of equal value. That is credit, not a cash refund.

Frequently asked questions
Is the bundle aligned to Common Core or state standards for Grades 5–12?
No alignment or endorsement is claimed. The workbooks are written for grade bands from 5 to 12 and cover expressions, equations, inequalities, real numbers, ratio, linear functions and systems, quadratics and transformations. Compare them with your own state or district requirements before you place them in your sequence.
Is this a complete math curriculum for Grades 5–12?
No. It is the algebra strand: 10 algebra workbooks. Other areas of math, such as geometry, statistics and measurement, are not part of it, and it does not make up a full year for any single grade. Many schools pair it with their existing materials for the other strands and use it to keep algebra consistent across grades.
Which workbooks are included?
Four foundations workbooks, two warm-up sets, an equations and inequalities foundations workbook, a linear functions and systems workbook, a quadratics workbook and a function transformations workbook. The product page lists each one. The linear functions and systems workbook, for example, includes a reading text, six differentiated worksheets, word problems, a glossary, a group puzzle, a quiz with answer key and a poster project.
How much does the bundle save?
The 10 workbooks cost $199.90 when bought individually. The bundle is $129.99, so you save $69.91. Each workbook is still sold separately if you need only one or two. If your school only teaches part of the range, compare the bundle with the smaller Algebra Foundations or Algebra 1 Pathway bundles before deciding.
Can our whole math department use it?
The standard licence covers your own teaching. For use by several teachers, send Teach Lessons a short message before buying, describe your department, and ask how team use works. It is a quick step, and it means every teacher using the workbooks is covered by what was agreed.
Can I return it if it does not suit our sequence?
Within 7 days you can exchange it for store credit of equal value and choose something else in the store. It is not a cash refund. Before buying, check the product page so you know what each workbook covers and whether it fits your Grade 5–12 sequence.
