Why teachers use these
Why Arizona teachers use these
Arizona classrooms move fast. Districts grow mid-year, rosters change in October, and a K–3 teacher is expected to run Move On When Reading screening, small-group instruction and grade-level math with very little release time. A complete unit takes one decision off the table: the worksheets exist on four levels, the slides are written, the answer key is done. What stays with you is pacing, grouping and which students see which version.

Make it work for everyone
Differentiation and progress checks
With four versions of every worksheet you can run one lesson and still meet a class spanning three grade levels of readiness, which is ordinary in Arizona's fast-growing districts. Give the two middle tiers to most students, keep the lowest tier for English learners still building the vocabulary, and use the answer keys to grade a set in minutes.
Good to know
Frequently asked questions
Do these follow the Arizona Academic Standards?
They are written to the concepts and skills those standards cover and line up with most district pacing guides, but Teach Lessons is independent of the Arizona Department of Education and nothing here is state-adopted or approved. Open the preview, compare it with the standard you are teaching, and decide from there.
Will they help students on AASA or AzSCI?
Indirectly. The practice builds the multi-step reasoning those assessments sample, and the four levels let struggling students stay on the same content as everyone else. They are not test-simulation packets, so pair them with the state's own released items once the spring window gets close.
I teach a large English learner population. Are these usable?
Many teachers use the lowest of the four worksheet levels with newcomers because the task stays the same while the language load drops. The files are editable Word, so you can add a word bank, simplify a heading or shorten a passage. There are separate ESL and ELL units in the catalog too.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every unit is a one-time purchase and an instant download. There is no membership, no renewal and no free trial. You keep the files and use them with your own classes year after year, buying again only when you want a different topic. Prices run from free to about $69.90.
