Sell IGCSE resources and Cambridge A level materials
Teachers of Cambridge IGCSE, O Level and International AS & A Level build huge amounts of revision and practice material. Your original work can sell on TeachLessons, provided it stays clear of past papers and endorsement claims.
Short answer: You can sell IGCSE and A level resources you wrote yourself on TeachLessons. Name the syllabus and its code factually, never claim Cambridge endorsement (that's a formal programme for publishers), and never reproduce past papers, mark schemes or examiner reports. You keep 70% of net revenue, paid monthly in US dollars via PayPal.
Why can't I call my IGCSE resources "Cambridge endorsed"?
Cambridge International Education runs a formal endorsement process for published resources, mostly textbooks and digital products from publishers. "Endorsed" therefore has a specific meaning to teachers, and using it, or the Cambridge logo, on your own worksheets suggests something that isn't true.
Describing what a resource is for is fine and helps buyers find it. Compare:
| Accurate description | Misleading |
|---|---|
| Revision notes for Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625) topics | Cambridge endorsed IGCSE Physics notes |
| Practice questions written for the Cambridge International AS & A Level Economics syllabus (9708) | Official 9708 practice paper |
| Suits IGCSE and similar GCSE-level courses | Using the Cambridge crest or colours on your cover |
Check the syllabus code and the exam years it applies to before you list it. Syllabuses are revised, and a resource labelled with the wrong code or an expired version loses trust fast. If a resource fits several versions, say which content it covers rather than guessing.
Can I sell IGCSE past paper packs or worked solutions?
No. Past papers, specimen papers, mark schemes, examiner reports and grade threshold documents belong to Cambridge. They are easy to find, which is exactly why reprinting them, compiling them by topic or selling worked solutions to them is risky: the value of the product is someone else's work.
Topic-sorted question banks built from past papers are popular, and they are the most common copyright problem in this area. If you want that format, write your own questions. It takes longer, but it's the product you can safely sell, and a good original bank is worth more to teachers than a rearrangement of papers their school already has.
TeachLessons does not check resources for third-party rights. If a claim arises because of your resource, you are responsible for it, and we may take a resource offline immediately after a complaint.

Who buys Cambridge resources, and where are they?
Cambridge qualifications are taught in many countries, and buyers on TeachLessons include international schools, private schools and tutors as well as parents buying revision help. That spread shapes a few practical choices:
- Spelling: British spelling (analyse, colour, behaviour) matches the syllabuses and suits most buyers.
- Paper size: most Cambridge schools print on A4, but schools in the Americas use US Letter. Include both PDFs in one ZIP.
- Examples: economics, geography and history examples from several regions make a resource easier to use in Lagos, Lima and Lahore alike.
- Overlap with GCSE: many topics overlap with UK GCSEs. Say "also useful for GCSE" only where you've checked the content matches, and keep the exam boards' names factual.
How should I price IGCSE resources?
You decide. Our optional suggestion is at least $4.99 for a single resource. Revision packs covering a full syllabus, or a complete scheme of work, are a different product from a single-topic worksheet, and the price can reflect that.
| Example resource | Price | Your payout per sale |
|---|---|---|
| Single-topic practice set | $4.99 | $3.39 |
| Full-unit revision pack | $10.00 | $6.79 |
| Whole-syllabus revision notes | $24.99 | $16.97 |
| Scheme of work with lessons | $50.00 | $33.95 |
Payout per sale is 67.9% of the price: 70% of net revenue after a 3% processing cost. Bundles are only created with your approval, and you can test prices in the payout calculator.

Frequently asked questions
Can I sell IGCSE resources if I'm not a Cambridge examiner?
Yes. You don't need any role with Cambridge. You need to have created the resource or hold all rights to it, and to describe it accurately.
Can I include syllabus codes like 0580 in my titles?
Yes, used factually to show which syllabus a resource covers. Check the code and syllabus years first, and don't suggest the resource is official.
Can I sell topic-sorted past paper questions?
No. Past papers and mark schemes belong to Cambridge, and rearranging them by topic is still copying. Write your own questions instead.
Can I call my notes "Cambridge endorsed"?
Not unless they went through Cambridge's own endorsement process. Describe them as written for the syllabus instead.
Should I use British or American spelling?
British spelling matches Cambridge syllabuses and suits most buyers. Use it consistently and state it in the description.
How do I get paid for IGCSE resource sales?
