Sixth Year moves quickly, and much of it is spent revisiting material that was covered thinly in Fifth. A finished unit means you can spend Sunday evening choosing which past questions to set instead of retyping notes. The practice pages are levelled, so the Ordinary Level students in a mixed class get questions they can attempt while the Higher Level group works through the longer applied answers.

Higher and Ordinary Level in one room
Most Leaving Cert classes contain students who have not yet settled on a level, and the four practice tiers let you keep them together for the teaching and split only for the written work. Because the files are editable, you can rewrite a question in the style of the paper your class will actually sit.

Are these aligned with the State Examinations Commission?
No. We have no connection with the SEC or the NCCA and nothing here is approved by them. The material is written to the concepts and skills the senior cycle specifications cover, so it maps onto most schemes of work. Always check the current specification and marking schemes before you set anything as exam practice.
Will these work for LCVP or Leaving Certificate Applied groups?
Often, yes. The applied business and enterprise units suit LCVP link modules and LCA task work because they are structured around a real brief. Since the Word files are editable, teachers usually shorten the reading and rewrite the outcome wording to match the module descriptor they are working from.
Can I share a download with the rest of the department?
The licence covers one teacher's own classes, including printing for your students and posting a copy in your own class group. If two or three colleagues want their own editable version, buy additional licences. That keeps everyone free to adapt the slides without overwriting each other's work.
